Zero Hunger Project trains stakeholders in Togo on financial management and reporting

Zero Hunger Project team trained finance and communication officers from Institut Togolais de Recherches Agronomiques (ITRA), L’Institut de Conseil et d’Appui Technique (ICAT)and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, from 11 to 13 April. The purpose of the training was to ensure the stakeholders were equipped with the necessary skills to implement the project (financially and technically) according to the donor’s requirements.

The training took place at the ITRA Office Complex. It began with a focus on financial reporting. The participants learned how to ensure financial transparency and accountability, introduce the donor financial reporting system to the partners, and facilitate compliance with Internal control and audit, to avoid ineligible transactions.
