Fish Learning Hour: Fraud and Internal Controls

There will be a Fish Learning Hour knowledge sharing session on 21 March 2019 (Thursday), from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM (GMT +8 hours) at the Auditorium, WorldFish HQ. The presentation will be given by Mr. Rahul Bhan on ‘Fraud and Internal Controls’. Presentation Abstract:

Combating fraud through effective internal controls – a good system of internal controls, with the right balance of preventive, deterrent, and detective controls, can greatly reduce an organization’s vulnerability to fraud.

Speaker’s Biography:

Mr. Bhan is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI – India) and Certified Internal Auditor (IIA- USA). He has over 20 years of post-qualification experience, and most of them have been spent in audit, risk management, process development and reviews, due diligence etc. Prior to joining Audit Asia (internal auditor of WorldFish, IRRI, CIFOR, IWMI and WorldVeg.) in January 2016, Rahul was Head of Risk Management at Jindal Steel and Power Limited, India. He is also the co-founder and Director of Riskpro India (a risk consulting firm in India) and previously worked in several countries including the Netherlands (Deloitte),  South Africa (PKF), Kuwait (Ernst and Young) and UAE (KPMG).
