The CSO is a decision-making resource for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners who are addressing the climate security nexus. The platform provides access to a suite of tools and resources, including climate security risk assessments, vulnerability maps, targeted analyses, and policy recommendations for various countries.
Launched in May 2023, we are ensuring that the now public platform fits users’ expectations and supports their day-to-day work at their organizations, by conducting training workshops with the following objectives:
- Explain the features and functionalities of the CSO, and enable users to leverage the platform right away.
- Allow participants to test the platform and provide feedback on the usability and usefulness based on their hands-on experiences to enhance future iterations.
- Boost climate security awareness, as well as encourage peer knowledge sharing and networking
