The Commission on Science and Technology for Development

As a forum, the CSTD facilitates strategic discussions, shares lessons and best practices, and provides insights into critical STI trends affecting the economy, environment, and society, focusing on emerging and disruptive technologies.

In its twenty-seventh session, the commission emphasizes two priority themes: “Data for Development” and “Global cooperation in science, technology, and innovation for development.” This session will also assess the advancements in the World Summit on the Information Society’s goals and feature policy review presentations on STIs.
