Partnerships are at the core of CGIAR’s work. In 2019, CGIAR Research Programs reported external partnerships involving a wide range of partners, from policymakers in governments and international agencies, to research collaborators in research and academic institutions around the world, as well as public- and private-sector companies and non-profit institutions involved in the development and scaling of innovations. From a total of 283 partnerships, 36% were focused on research, 26% on capacity development, 22% on delivery and 13% on policy.
