Capacity development

This results indicator measures the number of people trained by CGIAR.

In 2021, CGIAR trained 718,136 people in total. Of all people trained, 379,785 (53%) were men and 338,351 (47%) were women.

A total of 353 PhD students were incorporated in CGIAR research initiatives in 2021, 41% (144) of them women.
