Towards the inclusion of environmental considerations in Livestock Master Plans

LMP is a five-year sector investment plan and includes both investment analysis and a budget—
both a financial and a human resource budget- that guide the development of a country’s
sustainable livestock sector (Staal et al., 2022)

• Increasing revenues
• Improving food nutrition and security
• Increase animal-source food consumption and exports
