Selection of sorghum and bean varietal combinations with high yield potential for intercrop
breeding

Specific objectives
• To evaluate genotypic and phenotypic variation of sorghum and bean landraces
• To identify and select combinations of beans and sorghum with high total mixture yield
• To identify and select farmers’ preferred traits and combinations through intercrop
crowdsourcing trials
