The CGIAR Integrated Partnership Board, as the governing body of both the CGIAR System Organization and the Integrated Partnership, provides dynamic leadership and governance to advance CGIAR’s mission. This includes the appointment and oversight of the Executive Managing Director.
The Global Leadership Team incorporates institutional integration and coordination to more aligned management across the CGIAR Centers.
In May 2026, Zimbabwe joined the global community in commemorating the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists 2026. The government used the occasion to renew national commitment towards sustainable management of rangelands and wetlands that underpin livestock production and announced plans to establish a two-hectare rangeland demonstration centre. The centre will serve as a practical learning hub for livestock keepers and community members.
