The shift toward a circular bioeconomy requires tools that help decision-makers evaluate complex trade-offs among environmental, financial, and social goals. WasteWise is a multi-criteria decision support tool that guides the selection of suitable circular bioeconomy business models for the valorization of organic waste. By integrating spatial and non-spatial datasets, the tool links waste availability with technology performance to assess feasibility across multiple areas. Using multicriteria decision-making methods, WasteWise ranks alternative technologies and business models based on technical, economic, environmental, and social indicators. Its interactive dashboard allows users to test scenarios, visualize trade-offs, and identify investment-ready options tailored to local priorities. By translating data into actionable insights, WasteWise supports planners, policymakers, and entrepreneurs in promoting resource recovery and reuse (RRR) solutions that enhance sustainability, create green jobs, and accelerate the transition to circular, low-carbon economies.
