Rodrigue is an Aquatic Food Scientist with over twenty years of research for development and science leadership experience in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. Yossa is the Director of Aquatic Foods Biosciences at WorldFish, where he oversees a global team working in the areas of aquatic animal genetics, aquatic animal health, aquatic animal feeds and nutrition, and aquatic farming practices in Asia, Africa and the Pacific.

Prior to joining WorldFish in 2018, Yossa was the Scientific Director of aquaculture at the Coastal Zones Research Institute Inc. (now Valores), in New Brunswick, Canada, where he led a team of aquaculture scientists and technicians in transforming the arctic charr aquaculture in Canada. Yossa holds a Ph.D. in animal sciences from Université Laval (Canada), an M.Sc. in aquaculture from Ghent University (Belgium), University Certificates in Biotechnology (Université Laval, Canada) and in art and philosophy (Ghent University, Belgium), and Undergraduate degree in water, forestry, and wildlife engineering from University of Dschang (Cameroon).

Rodrigue is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in the US, and is fluent in languages such as Bafang, French, English, and Cameroonian Pidgin English.
