About the Position  

As a Finance Analyst, you will serve as a key partner in driving financial oversight and strategic insights for Cost Center operations. This role involves leading the coordination, monitoring, and reporting of revenue and expenditure, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards. You will take ownership of preparing OneCG reports, managing the hosting program, and delivering in-depth monthly cost recovery performance analyses with actionable recommendations. Additionally, you will support the development of advanced financial dashboards to provide leadership with timely, data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making. 

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Partner with the Budget & Reporting Manager to design, coordinate, and implement the annual budget and rolling forecasts. Provide analytical insights to support strategic planning and resource optimization. 
  • Oversee the maintenance, upload, monitoring, and reporting of Cost Center budgets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives. 
  • Record and reconcile Cost Center revenue streams (including hosting and other sources) promptly and accurately. 
  • Prepare and submit hosting reports and OneCG reporting with precision and timeliness. 
  • Conduct monthly full cost recovery variance analysis, delivering actionable commentaries and recommendations to management. 
  • Support the development of financial dashboards and performance metrics for leadership decision-making. 
  • Maintain and update Cost Center budgeting policies and procedures manual. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for budgeting and reporting processes, leveraging best practices and technology. 
  • Develop and maintain an online filing system on SharePoint for easy access and transparency. 
  • Act as a key liaison for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on financial policies and reporting requirements. 
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing financial governance, cost efficiency, and compliance. 
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments required to support the Budget & Reporting unit. 

Requirements

This job might be for you if you have the below skills and qualifications:   

  • Master / bachelor’s degree in accounting with a membership in an internationally recognized accounting institute. 
  • Minimum of 3 years progressive post-qualification in finance. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of working in a similar role. 
  • Experience working collaboratively across a regional or global organization. 
  • Ability to manage relationships and work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment. 
  • Teamwork - demonstrates experience working collaboratively across teams in a cross-functional, matrixed work environment. 
  • Good communication skills, particularly written English. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. 
  • Good proficiency in the use of MS Windows-based software packages, especially MS Excel. 
  • Working knowledge with reputable ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP. 

Desirable Skills:  

  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines with minimum supervision. 
  • Experience in ERP systems (Agresso preferred). 
  • Familiar with non-profit financial accounting, planning and budgeting. 
  • Sound knowledge on income tax and VAT computation 

Benefits

This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position and WorldFish offers a competitive remuneration package including comprehensive benefits (but not limited to) insurance coverage for staff and eligible dependents, employer provident fund contribution, paid leave, and others. The duration of the contract will initially be for a three-year period with possibility for extension, depending on funding and performance.
