Position:    Communication Officer  

 

Contract:        2-year renewable contract                                    Location:  Ibadan

Closing Date: 05 June 2025

DUTIES: 

 Assist in implementing the Hub’s communication strategy to enhance visibility and stakeholder engagement.

  • Support the creation of content for digital and traditional media, including press releases, reports, newsletters, and social media updates.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of events, stakeholder meetings, and media engagements.
  • Maintain and regularly update communication materials, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging.
  • Assist in managing relationships with media partners, donors, and technical collaborators.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of communication activities, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

HND/BSc in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies or a related field. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of six (6) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

 COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
  • Be familiar with social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
