Forest cover in Kenya is declining at an alarming rate, mainly due to poor forest governance and the mismanagement of resources, challenges that can be overcome by instilling future leaders with positive values, according to the daughter of environmental activist and 2004 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Wangari Maathai.
