At a side event during the October 2019 Committee on World Food Security meeting in Rome, CGIAR experts addressed the need to consider challenges particular to the Global South for healthy, sustainable diets and food system transformation. Namukolo Covic, a research coordinator with the CGIAR Research Program on Agriculture for Nutrition and Health, gave a keynote address.
