Climate change disproportionally affects natural resourcedependent communities. Within such communities, decision-makers at various levels are called upon to consider the impacts that climate change can have on different members of the community, which are often parallel to various lines of social differentiation. Beyond the climate change impacts, varying capacities among individual households or household members, as well as between different groups within the community, to prepare for and adapt to those impacts require consideration.
