Request for Expression of Interest (EOI): Designing and structuring CGIAR Impact Ventures
CGIAR System Organization invites qualified individual consultants, firms, or consortia to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) to support the design, feasibility assessment, and structuring of CGIAR Impact Ventures—a proposed platform that will connect CGIAR’s science with markets and finance while upholding its public‑goods mandate.
The assignment includes developing a comprehensive design package covering the platform’s strategic role, operating and business model, governance and legal structures, capital and investment framework, organizational setup, and operational roadmap.
Applicants should demonstrate expertise in:
- Strategy and institutional design for hybrid or public‑private initiatives
- Governance and legal structuring
- Blended finance, impact investing, and capital architecture
- Intellectual property, benefit sharing, and safeguards
- Feasibility assessments and market sounding
- Organizational/operating model design
Submission Deadline:
The deadline for submitting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) is 12 April 2026 by 12:00pm CET (Paris time). To apply, please include both a cover letter and a completed EOI response form (Annex 1), which should detail your firm or consultant profile, highlight relevant experience, and list the qualifications of key personnel.
