Country Representative, Ethiopia

The Country Representative, Ethiopia (CR) represents the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in East Africa and maintains strong links with national and international partners.

The CR will: (i) manage all staff, interns and consultants at IWMI’s assigned office/ region; (ii) coordinate business development in country/region to sustain and grow a viable funding pipeline; (iii) represent IWMI in national and regional forums and develop and strengthen relationships with government agencies, national research organizations and implementing partners, to expand and promote uptake of IWMI’s research outputs; (iv) country office management (people management; financial management; governance and risk management; and (v) participate in IWMI research programs aligned with personal expertise.
