Alexandre Yersin (1863-1943), a Swiss-French doctor and bacteriologist who made extraordinary contributions to medicine and the people of Vietnam, is honoured in new documentary that features his life’s work.
In the documentary, Hung Nguyen-Viet, a Vietnamese national and co-leader of the Animal and Human Health program at the International Livestock Research Institute, speaks about the impact of Dr Yersin’s work on his own career as a 21st-Century scientist working in the area of One Health.
