The journey to change Community-Based Seed Producers (CBSPs) to Community-Based Seed Entrepreneurs (CBSEs) has commenced earnestly. By 31 December 2024, USAID-funded Feed-the-Future Nigeria Integrated Agriculture Activity (IAA) would have transformed 2,250 CBSPs to CBSEs who belong to functional cooperative societies capable of independently transacting businesses in the seed value chain.
