Inspired by the urgency of addressing current challenges, the ZALF Institute together with the Bioversity-CIAT Alliance under the SLUS project and the CGIAR AgriLAC Resiliente and Mitigate+ initiatives, developed ScalA-PB that not only adapts, but transforms our approach to sustainability, peace and resilience in conflict-affected environments.
This tool represents a significant advance in sustainable impact assessment (SIA) that evaluates the potential effects of an action, project, program or policy on the economic, social and environmental aspects of a system. In this way, it provides information that allows informed decision making, considering the short and long term impacts in the aforementioned areas.
