India’s The Tribune reported on a recent IFPRI research by Associate Research Fellow, Samuel Scott, and Senior Research Analyst, Suman Chakrabarti, on key factors in reducing anemia among women in the country. The article quoted Scott, who argued that multi-sectoral public health policies and programmes that target basic, underlying and immediate factors are likely to have greatest impact on anemia reduction among pregnant women.
