Research Workshop: Developing CGIAR’s Offer To Adaptation Tracking

  • Date
  • Time
    08:00 am > 03:00 pm UTC+03:00
  • Location
United Nations, Conference Room 6, Nairobi, Kenya

Thematic Areas: Climate Action, Digital & Data

Assessing progress in adapting to climate change impacts is crucial for guiding adaptation responses and investments. However, significant challenges in methods and data hinder these assessments. As part of the launch of the new Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation -funded program dubbed Adaptation Insights, CIAT, Climate Platform, ILRI, and IWMI will co-facilitate side events, providing policymakers and researchers with a platform to co-design an action plan.

This action plan will aim to establish a robust evidence base on adaptation progress and catalyze the use of appropriate methods to track adaptation. Overall, Adaptation Insights aims at consolidating and increasing access to CGIAR’s collective data and methods to support adaptation tracking.
