The CGIAR FOCUS Climate Security will host a compelling new series of eight webinars that explore ways climate science can better inform peacebuilding efforts and security operations in unstable regions around the world.

We’re thrilled to be joined once again by Mark Leon Goldberg of the popular Global Dispatch podcast, who will chair each webinar in the lead-up to the UN Food Systems Summit and COP26.  

Policies that address existing insecurity must examine links with climate change, and the CGIAR-developed ‘climate security lens’ is a crucial tool in mapping. There is, however, convergence and divergence between climate and security policies.
