Research activities: Improving the enabling policy environment for more resilient, low-emission livestock agrifood systems
This area of work addresses weaknesses in the enabling policy environment, including through more robust monitoring and reporting, and by providing data and data systems to shape policies and investments that build system resilience and support climate change adaptation and mitigation. Researchers are also building understanding, including by helping governments to better quantify and monitor the contributions of livestock to national and global climate-related commitments, and supporting the generation and sharing of knowledge.
