The “Carlotta Award 2022” second edition is promoted by ENEA, the Academy of Sciences known as the XL, and by the European Research Infrastructure METROFOOD-RI and sponsored by ICARDA, the Wheat Initiative International Program, and EUCARPIA European Association for Research.

The “Carlotta Award 2022” for young researchers is only open to women under the age of 40 at the time of submission. An abstract outlining an original work, as well as a thorough curriculum vitae and a list of publications, must be included in the application.
