The NL-CGIAR Senior Expert Programme II (SEPII) offers senior researchers from Dutch institutions a unique opportunity to contribute to CGIAR’s research. The NL-CGIAR Senior Expert Programme II (SEPII) offers senior researchers from Dutch institutions a unique opportunity to contribute to CGIAR’s research. Through SEPII, these experts will engage with international research initiatives tackling critical challenges such as enhancing food security in regions experiencing prolonged food crises and investigating underutilized, “forgotten” crops.
Under SEPII, part of the Senior Experts’ staff costs will be reimbursed, enabling CGIAR to leverage Dutch knowledge and expertise while providing Dutch research institutions with access to CGIAR’s extensive networks, facilities, and global experience. This programme is a pillar of the partnership between CGIAR and the Dutch government, promoting a mutually beneficial exchange of skills and resources.
