About the webinar
The Breeding Optimization Community of Practice (CoP) webinar is hosted by Accelerated Breeding. The series is dedicated to discussions and cross-learning on quantitative genetic topics relevant for breeding pipeline design and optimization, achieved using invited talks and roundtables.
Each occurrence of the CoP webinar occurs every second Thursday of every month at 4:00 pm EAT – Nairobi time. The agenda and speakers for each occurrence will be announced 1-2 days before the webinar.
In these meetings, speakers from outside the Organization and CGIAR-NARES staff will cover:
- Topics of interest related to breeding scheme optimization;
- Topics of interest related to quantitative genetics concepts and their application to practical situations.
- The webinar will help participants improve breeding pipeline efficiency and operations, access newest methods and tools and a network of experts.
