The World Vegetable Center (WorldVeg) will celebrate its golden jubilee on the 3rd and 4th of November, 2023, at its headquarters in Shanhua, Taiwan.
As WorldVeg celebrates its golden jubilee under the theme “sowing seeds, meeting needs,” it emphasizes safer diets and sustainable farming. The celebration includes the launch of Fresh! and a two-day event focusing on vegetables, seed preservation, research, and knowledge sharing.
Together, WorldVeg and CGIAR collaborate through research, data sharing, and policy advocacy to advance vegetable-focused solutions for global food security and sustainable agriculture within the CGIAR network.
