The CGIAR Initiative on NEXUS Gains published a series of impact area briefs detailing how the Initiative’s five work packages have contributed to each of the five CGIAR Impact Areas:
- Climate change adaptation and mitigation
- Environmental health and biodiversity
- Gender equality, youth, and social inclusion
- Nutrition, health, and food security
- Poverty reduction, livelihoods, and jobs
NEXUS Gains also published a series of briefs sharing examples of its work in each of the transboundary river basin regions where it focused its research:
- Aral Sea Basin (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan)
- Blue Nile Basin (Ethiopia and Sudan)
- Ganges River Basin (India and Nepal)
- Incomati and Limpopo Basins, specifically the Shashe sub-basin (Botswana, Eswatini, Mozambique, South Africa, and Zimbabwe)
- Indus Basin (Pakistan)
