The conference, Partnering for Global Food Security: Advancing knowledge and innovation for food system transformation, in November 2022, highlighted research from the Netherlands-CGIAR Research Programme, which enhances collaboration between the Netherlands and CGIAR researchers to jointly contribute to transformational change in agriculture around the world by advancing food system knowledge and joint public and private innovation. Hosted by the Dutch Research Council Science for Global Development programmes (NWO-WOTRO), the event linked expertise and partnering in research resulted in key contributions by researchers, policy makers and stakeholders.

The conference included a keynote speech by CGIAR’s Global Director of Partnerships and Advocacy, Juan Lucas Restrepo, an interactive debate on the role of the private sector, a poster session and four thematic sessions which informed and inspired scientists, policy makers, and stakeholders from private companies, public authorities and NGOs.

The conference report is now available to read, along with key messages from each of the thematic sessions. Read more about the conference on the NWO website.
