This session will delve into the critical role of innovation and partnership in addressing the persistent challenges within the agricultural value chain. Dr. Victor Afari-Sefa, Global Research Program Director – Enabling Systems Transformation of ICRISAT, will deliver a keynote address sharing insights into successful initiatives and collaborative approaches of ICRISAT that empower startups, SMEs and how it benefits to the smallholder farmers and drive positive change in the sector. The session will also be attended by various key government officials and international donors to explore the new policies and funding interventions required to drive the promotion of innovation & entrepreneurship.”
