The primary goal of the summit is to forge a new international consensus on delivering a better present and safeguarding the future through enhanced international cooperation.

About the Summit

The Summit of the Future is a high-level event that brings world leaders together to accelerate efforts to meet existing international commitments and respond to emerging challenges.

It aims to negotiate an action-oriented outcome document called the Pact for the Future, endorsing concrete steps to manage global challenges effectively.

The agenda emphasizes reaffirming the UN Charter, reinvigorating multilateralism, boosting implementation of existing commitments, agreeing on solutions to new challenges, and restoring trust among nations and peoples. Engagement with diverse stakeholders and partnerships with international organizations are crucial.

Post-summit plans will include developing an implementation framework, monitoring progress, and maintaining ongoing dialogue.
