Identifying megatrends affecting food, land and water systems at global and regional scales

Trends of interest include changes in population, income, technology, urbanization, inequality, migration, diets, land and water use, and climate (including extreme events), along with their impacts on nutrition, poverty, inclusion, greenhouse gas emissions and the environment. Foresight researchers are examining these challenges and impacts at global and regional scales, focusing in particular on interactions between impact areas and heterogeneity of challenges across regions.
