Social Equity

Social Equity is one of two crosscutting themes for the CGIAR Initiative on Climate Resilience.

Climate risks unevenly impact people based on social and economic inequalities, and transformative adaptation is not possible without deliberate attention to the challenges faced by women, youth and other marginalized groups. Social equity approaches are embedded into work across the Initiative to ensure that interventions are tailored to farmers’ diverse needs.
