Helge Østtveiten has extensive national and international experience in the fields of external and internal audit, investigations, evaluations and advisory services. He is now a member of the CGIAR Audit, Finance and Risk Committee (AFRC). He is currently the Director of the Department of Evaluation in the Norwegian Development Agency, Norad.
Mr. Østtveiten was previously Director Oversight in United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with overall responsibility for internal audit, investigations and advisory services of a USD 5 billion organization with approximately 18,000 contract holders. He has previously worked in private consulting, academia and the media industry.
He was appointed to the CGIAR Audit, Finance and Risk Committee in March 2023 for a period of three years.
