Syrian Arab Republic

The Syrian Arab Republic joined the CGIAR in 1998, and is the host of the CGIAR's International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) in Aleppo. Syria's official support to the CGIAR and ICARDA is provided through the Ministry of Agriculture and Agricultural Reform.
