Sweden

Sweden became a member of the CGIAR in 1971, and was one of the Group's sixteen original investors. Sweden's official support to the CGIAR is provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Department for Research Cooperation (SAREC) in the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida).
