Norway

Norway became a member of the CGIAR in 1971, after participating in the Group's first meeting in May of that year. Norway's official support to the CGIAR is provided through the Ministry for Foreign Affairs' Department of Development Cooperation and guided by the Norwegian Center for International Environment and Development Studies (NORAGRIC) at the Agricultural University of Norway.
