The Netherlands
The Netherlands became a member of the CGIAR in 1971, and was one of the Group's sixteen original investors. The country formerly hosted the CGIAR's International Service for National Agricultural Research (ISNAR) in the Hague. The Netherlands' official support to the CGIAR is provided through the Directorate General for International Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
