Kenya

Kenya became a member of the CGIAR in 1995, and hosts two CGIAR Centers-the World Agroforestry Centre and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI)- both based in Nairobi. Kenya's official support to the CGIAR is provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, where the CGIAR's institutional partner is the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI).
