Iran

Iran became a member of the CGIAR in 1995, and is a valued supporter of the work of the CGIAR and its Centers. Its official support to the CGIAR is provided through the Ministry of Agriculture, which is officially represented in the CGIAR by the Agriculture Research Extension and Education Organization (AREEO).
