Asian Development Bank

The Asian Development Bank became a member of the CGIAR in 1971 after participating in the Group's first meeting in May of that year. Responsibility for the CGIAR is vested in the two regional Agriculture and Rural Development divisions in the Bank's Agriculture and Social Sector Department.
