Robert Nasi
Director, CGIAR Research Program on Forests, Trees and Agroforestry
Robert Nasi was appointed director of the CGIAR Research Program on Forests, Trees, and Agroforestry in August 2011. Since 1982 Robert has lived and travelled extensively in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. His research has been on the ecology and management of tropical forests. He joined the Center for International Forestry Research in August 1999 where he has held various research and management positions.
Robert graduated as a forest engineer from the French National Forestry School and received a PhD in ecology from the University of Paris Sud – Orsay.
