CGIAR Research Program Directors

Bruce Campbell is a member of staff of the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). He works from the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security office at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has worked in Zimbabwe, Indonesia and Australia, in agricultural and forestry research for development.

Bruce has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and more than a dozen books. He serves on several editorial boards, and is a member of the scientific committee of the International Council for Science Program on Ecosystem Change and Society.
Bruce has BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in ecology from Cape Town, Minnesota and Utrecht universities respectively.
