About the System Support Units
The System Support Units help to capture wider system
opportunities by identifying and pursuing opportunities to increase
effectiveness, reduce costs, and enhance the funding of the System
as a whole.
The System Support Units integrate and improve existing services
in four functional categories:
- Strategic planning and development
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Communication and Resource Mobilization
- Management Services
The System Support Units are made up of eight units which
together assist the CGIAR System to implement its vision, mission
and strategy. The virtual office was established to enhance the
efficiency, responsiveness and overall performance of each
unit.
