CGIAR Senior Managers Course
February 24 - March 12, 2008
Bangkok, Thailand

The first Senior Managers Course, an intensive management training for senior level managers from CGIAR Centers, Challenge Programs and Partners organized and supported by the CGIAR Secretariat was held in Bangkok from 24 February to 12 March.

The course was coordinated by a team of five trainers led by Fred Nunes and was designed to develop management skills, including financial management skills. It was patterned after the very successful training program organized by the Secretariat during the 1980s and 90s (the so-called Heemskerk or O'Hare course).

20 managers from the CGIAR system took part in this first course offering.
