Hybrid Intellectual Property in Agricultural Research: a Brainstorming Session organized by the CGIAR Secretariat, Washington, DC, July 31, 2006

Some twelve experts in intellectual property participated in an all-day brainstorming session in Washington on July 31, 2006. The exploratory meeting, organized by the CGIAR Secretariat in collaboration with the SC Secretariat and CAS-IP, sought to discuss alternative Intellectual Property regimes in agriculture that reconcile development goals and private interests.
