CGIAR Main RSS Feed

What is RSS and how can it help me?

RSS feeds (standing for"Really Simple Syndication") provide a title and short description of items on a website with a link to the full version of the content. RSS feeds are an efficient way to keep track of changing content on a website without constantly checking the site for new material. Feeds are delivered to your desktop or browser by means of a "feed reader" in which new items can be easily scanned for items of interest.

To use RSS feeds, you will need a feed reader. Many free feed readers are available for download on the Internet. These include stand alone readers that you keep on your desktop, such as FeedReader for Windows; browser features or extensions such as Pluck for Internet Explorer, Sage for Firefox or the reader included in the latest version of Opera; and web-based readers such as Bloglines. For more options, see Google's list of RSS Feed Readers.
