As part the reform of CGIAR, an Independent Evaluation Arrangement (IEA) Office has been established, located in FAO under the Fund Use Agreement between FAO and the CGIAR Fund. The main mandate of the IEA is to undertake strategic evaluation of major research programmes of CGIAR, mostly through commissioning external consultants and to develop a coordinated and harmonized evaluation regime within CGIAR. The Head of IEA reports directly to the CGIAR Fund Council, liaising closely with the CGIAR Consortium Board and members of the CGIAR Consortium (Centers). As agreed by the Fund Council and as per the IEA policy, the IEA office will be staffed with a small team of highly qualified and motivated evaluation experts. The IEA Head is seeking two evaluation experts: a Senior Evaluation Expert (P5 Level) and a Junior Evaluation Analyst (P2 level).
